Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 separating one from another, 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 For a known term? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
