Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 and yellow camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
