Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 and the severally severing 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 excusing or warning, 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 till a known term decreed? 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 as black camels. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
