Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 separating one from another, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 For what day is it timed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 until an appointed time? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
