Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the loosed ones successively 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 separating one from another, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40
