In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 Till a limit known? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 The living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
