Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 Till an appointed term, 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 The living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 as black camels. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
