Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 Till a limit known? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 The living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 and yellow camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
