Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 and the severally severing 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 As justification or warning, 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
