The News (Al-Naba')
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej) before The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ What are they questioning each other about? 1 About the awesome tiding [of resurrection,] 2 Regarding which they hold different views. 3 (What they think is certainly despicable!). They will soon come to know (the reality). 4 Surely, they will soon find out the truth! 5 Have We not made the earth as a cradle 6 And the mountains as stakes? 7 And We have created you in pairs. 8 And have appointed your sleep for repose, 9 and made the night [its] cloak 10 and made the day [a symbol of] life. 11 Have We not made seven strong heavens above you, 12 And We made a shining lamp, 13 and have sent down from the clouds, pouring rain 14 Thereby to produce grain and plant, 15 and thick gardens grow? 16 Surely, the Day of Judgement has an appointed time. 17 The Day that the Trumpet shall be sounded, and ye shall come forth in crowds; 18 The heavens will have openings like doors. 19 and the mountains shall be made to vanish, as if they had been a mirage. 20 Surely hell lies in wait, 21 A dwelling place for the Taghun (those who transgress the boundry limits set by Allah like polytheists, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, hyprocrites, sinners, criminals, etc.), 22 In it shall they remain for a long time. 23 They shall not taste therein cool nor drink 24 except boiling water and pus, 25 Reward proportioned (to their evil deeds). 26 Behold, they were not expecting to be called to account, 27 And they belied Our revelations with strong belying. 28 And We have recorded everything in a book, 29 'Taste! We shall increase you not save in chastisement.' 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
