The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
