Surely for the godfearing awaits a place of security, 31 They will have gardens and vineyards, 32 curvaceous (virgins), of equal age 33 And a cup overflowing. 34 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cry of lies, 35 A recompense from your Lord, a sufficient gift, 36 The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that lies between them, most benevolent, to whom none may dare address a word. 37 Upon the day when the Spirit and the angels stand in ranks they shall speak not, save him to whom the All-merciful has given leave, and who speaks aright. 38 That is the True Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return. 39 We warn you of a punishment that has come near; a day on which man will see what his own hands have sent ahead, and the disbeliever will say, “Alas – if only I were dust!” 40
