Surely the state of triumph awaits the God-fearing: 31 Gardens and vineyards, 32 And full-breasted maidens of equal age. 33 And a pure cup. 34 In which they shall neither hear lewd talk, nor any lie. 35 A reward from your Lord, a gift according to a reckoning: 36 from the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of that which is between them; the Most Merciful Lord before Whom none dare utter a word. 37 The day on which the spirit and the angels shall stand in ranks; they shall not speak except he whom the Beneficent Allah permits and who speaks the right thing. 38 That is the true day; so whosoever wills takes unto his Lord a resort. 39 We warn you of a punishment that has come near; a day on which man will see what his own hands have sent ahead, and the disbeliever will say, “Alas – if only I were dust!” 40
