Lo! for the duteous is achievement - 31 Gardens and grapevines 32 And full-breasted maidens of equal age. 33 And a full cup. 34 They will not hear therein any unnecessary words or lies. 35 for a recompense from thy Lord, a gift, a reckoning, 36 The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that lies between them, most benevolent, to whom none may dare address a word. 37 The day when Jibreel and all the angels will stand in rows; none will be able to speak except one whom the Most Gracious commands and who spoke rightly. (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to be granted permission to intercede.) 38 That is the True Day. So whoso will should seek recourse unto his Lord. 39 Lo! We warn you of a chastisement near at hand; the Day when a man will look on what his own hands have sent forth, and the unbelievers shall say: “Oh would that I were utter dust.” 40
