The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those (angels) that pluck out the soul from depths, 1 And who softly release the soul. (Of the believer) 2 By the angels who glide swimmingly, 3 by those that outstrip them suddenly, 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 On the day when the first trumpet sound blasts 6 and will be followed by the second one, 7 Hearts on that Day will be throbbing; 8 and their eyes shall be downcast with dread. 9 They say: “Shall we indeed be restored to life, 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They said, “So this return is an obvious loss!” 12 Indeed, it will be but one shout, 13 and behold! They will all come out in the open. 14 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 15 When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 and directed him: “Go to Pharaoh, he has rebelled, 17 Then say thou: wouldst thou to be purified? 18 Then I will guide thee to thy Lord and thou shalt fear (Him). 19 And he showed him the tremendous token. 20 but he denied it and refused [the faith]. 21 Then he went back hastily. 22 Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation, 23 then said: 'I am your lord, the most high' 24 So God seized him for the punishment of the Hereafter and this world. 25 In this there is a lesson for those who have fear of God. 26
