The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence; 1 By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers); 2 And by those who float in space, 3 by the angels who hasten along 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 One Day everything that can be in commotion will be in violent commotion, 6 The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be raised up), 7 Hearts on that Day will be throbbing; 8 and their eyes will be humbled. 9 They say: “Shall we indeed be restored to life, 10 Even after we are crumbled bones? 11 They said: That then would be a return occasioning loss. 12 But only, it will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)]. (See Verse 37:19). 13 When, behold, they will be in the (full) awakening (to Judgment). 14 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 saying, "Go to the Pharaoh. He has transgressed beyond all bounds. 17 And say (unto him): Hast thou (will) to grow (in grace)? 18 Do you want me to guide you to your Lord, so that you should fear Him?'" 19 Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign. 20 But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed. 21 Then he quickly turned his back. 22 and gathered his people together 23 and proclaimed, and he said, 'I am your Lord, the Most High!' 24 but God seized him and meted out to him the chastisement of both the next world and the present: 25 surely there is in this a lesson for the God-fearing. 26
