The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)

By [the winds] that pluck out vehemently 1 And [by] those who remove with ease 2 And those who glide swimmingly, 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 On the Day when a violent convulsion will convulse [the world], 6 There will follow it the subsequent [one]. 7 Many a heart will flutter on that day! 8 Eyes be lowered in submission. 9 They shall say, 'What, are we being restored as we were before? 10 even after we have turned into decayed bones?" 11 They say: "It would, in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 Surely it will need but one shout, 13 And lo! they all shall appear on the surface. 14 Has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 15 Recall what time his Lord called unto him in the holy vale of Tuwa. 16 Saying: go thou unto Fir'awn; verily he hath waxen exorbitant. 17 And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)", 18 ‘And I may guide you to your Lord, so that you may fear.’” 19 Then Moses (went to Pharaoh and) showed him the Great Sign; 20 But he denied and disobeyed, 21 then he turned away hastily, 22 Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation, 23 and proclaimed, "I am your supreme Lord," 24 So Allah, seized him with punishment for his last [i.e. his saying: "I am your lord, most high") (see Verse 79:24)] and first [(i.e. his saying, "O chiefs! I know not that you have a god other than I" (see Verse 28:38)] transgression. 25 Indeed in this is a lesson for one who fears. 26
