By those (angels) that pluck out the soul from depths, 1 By the meteors rushing, 2 By the lone stars floating, 3 and yet overtake [one another] with swift overtaking: 4 Then arrange to do (the Commands of their Lord), 5 On the day when the trembling one will tremble. (The disbelievers will certainly taste the punishment.) 6 and will be followed by another quaking. 7 On that day hearts beat painfully 8 while eyes will be downcast. 9 They say: "Shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state of life? 10 even after we have turned into decayed bones?" 11 and they say, "That indeed would be a losing return." 12 However, it will only take a single blast 13 and behold, they are awakened. 14 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses 15 when his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa, 16 "Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds: 17 “Tell him ‘Do you have the inclination to become pure?’ 18 [If so,] then I shall guide thee towards [a cognition of] thy Sustainer, so that [henceforth] thou wilt stand in awe [of Him].'" 19 So Moosa showed him a magnificent sign. 20 But he denied and disobeyed, 21 and brusquely turned his back [on Moses]; 22 Then he gathered (men) and called out. 23 Yet to a rich man, 24 but God seized him and meted out to him the chastisement of both the next world and the present: 25 Indeed in this is a lesson for one who fears. 26
