Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
