Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
