Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 preferring the present life, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
