[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
