(Muhammad), they will ask you about the mountains. Tell them, "My Lord will grind them to powder 105 And He will leave the earth a level plain; 106 with neither crookedness nor any curving to be seen therein' 107 On that day they follow the summoner who deceiveth not, and voices are hushed for the Beneficent, and thou hearest but a faint murmur. 108 That Day, no intercession will benefit except [that of] one to whom the Most Merciful has given permission and has accepted his word. 109 He knows what is before them and behind them, and they comprehend Him not in knowledge. 110 ۞ on that Day all faces shall be humbled before the Living, Self-Subsisting One. Those burdened with evil deeds will come to grief, 111 But he who works deeds of righteousness, and has faith, will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due). 112 Thus we have revealed it as a Lecture in Arabic, and have displayed therein certain threats, that peradventure they may keep from evil or that it may cause them to take heed. 113 [Know,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth and [knowing this,] do not approach the Qur'an in haste, ere it has been revealed unto thee in full, but [always] say: "O my Sustainer, cause me to grow in knowledge! 114 We made a covenant with Adam, but he forgot and We found in him no constancy. 115
