Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the Day when they see it, they will feel as if they had tarried in this world for only one evening or one morning. 46
