Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
