Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 save those who shall have attained to righteousness: 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
