What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 high above? 28 and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 preferring the present life, 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
