[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 high above? 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
