Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 But how are you to know? 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
