He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ (The Prophet) frowned and turned away, 1 Because a blind man came to him. 2 But what could tell you that per chance he might become pure (from sins)? 3 or he might be mindful and good counsel might avail him. 4 Now as for him who believes himself to be self-sufficient 5 To him you attend; 6 And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified. 7 but as for him who came unto thee full of eagerness 8 And whereas he fears, 9 of him you were unmindful. 10 No indeed, this is a Reminder; 11 so let those who want to follow its guidance do so. 12 On honoured leaves 13 exalted, purified, 14 by the hands of the noble, virtuous, 15 Who are noble, virtuous. 16 Woe to man! What hath made him reject Allah; 17 Of what thing hath He created him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm He creates him, and thereupon determines his nature, 19 Then made his passage easy (at birth); 20 He will then send him to death and have him laid in the grave. 21 Then, when it is His Will, He will resurrect him (again). 22 By no means he performed not that which He had commanded him. 23 Then let man look to his food, 24 That We watered it in abundance. 25 Then We cleave the earth, cleaving (it) asunder, 26 how We made the grain to grow, 27 and vines and edible plants, 28 And olives and date-palms, 29 And gardens of dense shrubbery 30 and fruit and pastures, 31 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 32 AND SO, when the piercing call [of resurrection] is heard 33 it will be such a day when a person will run away from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father 35 his wife and his children. 36 on that Day, to every one of them will his own state be of sufficient concern. 37 Many a face will be glittering on that day. 38 laughing, joyous; 39 And other faces, that Day, will be dust-stained; 40 and covered by darkness. 41 Such will be the Rejecters of Allah, the doers of iniquity. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
