He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ HE FROWNED AND turned away, 1 Because there came to him the blind man. 2 But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?- 3 or receive some (Quranic) advice which would benefit him. 4 As for him who thinketh himself independent, 5 So you are after him! 6 though it is not thy concern, if he does not cleanse himself. 7 As for him who comes to you striving (after goodness), 8 and fearfully, 9 From him thou art distracted. 10 Indeed, this [Quran] is an admonition. 11 So let him who pleases mind it. 12 In honored books, 13 Exalted (in dignity), purified, 14 By the hands of scribes. 15 noble and most virtuous. 16 Accursed is man. How ungrateful is he! 17 From what did He create him? 18 From a drop of seed. He createth him and proportioneth him, 19 and made the path of guidance easy for him to follow. 20 Then He causeth him to die, and putteth him in his grave; 21 and then, if it be His will, He shall raise him again to life, 22 Indeed, he has not fulfilled that which He has ordered him. 23 Let the human being think about (how We produce) his food. 24 For that We pour forth water in abundance, 25 then We split the earth in fissures 26 Then We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and clover, 28 and olives, and palms, 29 and dense-tree'd gardens, 30 and fruits and pastures 31 for you and for your herds to delight in. 32 So when the deafening Shout arrives, 33 on the Day when each man shall flee from his brother, 34 and his mother and his father; 35 And his wife and his children, 36 on that Day each will be occupied with his own business, making him oblivious of all save himself. 37 Some faces will shine, 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 whereas some faces will be covered with dust 40 Veiled in darkness, 41 Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad (Peace be upon him), etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers). 42
Almighty God's Truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
