The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the sun is folded up, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 And when milch camels roam abandoned. 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies; 7 And the little girl buried alive is asked 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 and when Heaven is laid bare; 11 and when Hell is set ablaze, 12 when Paradise is brought near, 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 I swear by the receding stars. 15 stars which are visible during the night 16 The closing night, 17 and the morn as it breathes. 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 One (to be) obeyed, and faithful in trust. 21 And your companion is not gone mad. 22 And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon. 23 He (Muhammad) is not accused of lying about the unseen. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 So where are you going? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 And you will not, unless (it be) that Allah wills, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
