The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When the sun is wound up; 1 When the stars fall, losing their lustre; 2 And when the mountains are made to pass away, 3 when the pregnant camels are neglected, 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together, 5 and when the seas are set on fire, 6 When the souls are sorted out, (being joined, like with like); 7 When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 The curtain drawn back from the skies, 11 And when Hellfire is set ablaze 12 And when the Garden is brought nigh, 13 then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds. 14 So I swear by the retreating stars - 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 by the night swarming, 17 And the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness;- 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 having power, with the Lord of the Throne secure, 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 And (O people!) your companion is not one possessed; 22 And of a truth he saw himself on the clear horizon. 23 And he is not avid of the Unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of an evil spirit accursed. 25 Where then will you go? 26 This is merely a reminder to all mankind; 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And ye shall not will unless it be that Allah, the Lord of the worlds, willeth. 29

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
