The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is shrouded in darkness, 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 The mountains made to move, 3 when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 when the seas are set boiling, 6 souls are reunited with their bodies, 7 When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 when the scrolls are unrolled, 10 when heaven is stripped, 11 When Hell is set ablaze, 12 when Paradise is brought near, 13 then shall each person know what he has brought along. 14 BUT NAY! I call to witness the revolving stars, 15 orbiting, disappearing; 16 by the night when it approaches 17 And by oath of the morning when it takes birth. 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 And your companion is not [at all] mad. 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 and he is not one to begrudge others the knowledge [of whatever has been revealed to him] out of that which is beyond the reach of human Perception. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 So where are you going? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Lord of the Universe, so wills it [to show you that way]. 29
Almighty God's Truth.
