Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the sun Kuwwirat (wound round and lost its light and is overthrown). 1 And when the stars darken, 2 And when the mountains are driven. 3 when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts are gathered 5 And when the seas are set on fire, 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 And when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 for what sin she was slain, 9 when the records of men's deeds are laid open, 10 And when the heaven has its covering removed, 11 and Hell is stoked, 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 Every soul shall (then) know what it has prepared. 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, 16 And by the night as it departs; 17 and brightening morning, 18 That this is indeed the word of an honoured Messenger, 19 Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, 20 [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 Neither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen. 24 And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 For whoever wills among you to take a right course. 28 But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds. 29

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
