Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 watching over you 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
