Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
