Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble recorders, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. 19
