Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
