Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Noble and recording; 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. 19
