Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 noble scribes 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
