Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Generous and recording, 11 who know what you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. 19
