The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 When the earth is shaken violently, 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 and will scatter abroad into fine dust. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A numerous company from among the first, 13 And a few from the latter. 14 On studded thrones. 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 Round about them shall go youths never altering in age, 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 And fruit of what they select 20 And meat of birds that they may wish. 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 The likenesses of pearls well-protected, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 And clustered plantains, 29 and extended shade, 30 and outpoured waters, 31 and abundant fruits, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And couches raised up. 34 Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation 35 And made them virgins, 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
