The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 by the promised day, 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 destroyed were the people of the trench, 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 when they were seated over it 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
