The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 And the promised day, 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 Yet the infidels persist in denial. 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 In a guarded tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
