The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 by the Promised Day, 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 As they sat around it 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
