The Comet (Al-Taareq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
CONSIDER the heavens and that which comes in the night! 1 - Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is! 2 (It is) the piercing star. 3 For every soul there is a watcher. 4 So let man consider of what he is created: 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 That issued from between the loins and ribs. 7 Now, verily, He [who thus creates man in the first instance] is well able to bring him back [to life] 8 The Day that (all) things secret will be tested, 9 He will have no strength or helper. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 And by oath of the earth which flourishes with it. 12 the Quran is the final word, 13 It is not a thing for amusement. 14 They are hatching up a plot, 15 And I secretly plan. 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal thou gently with them for a while. 17
