Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky and the night comer - 1 Do you know what al-tariq is? 2 (It is) the star of piercing brightness; 3 [for] no human being has been left unguarded. 4 So let man observe from what he was created. 5 He is created from a gushing fluid 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 on the Day when consciences are examined, 9 Then he shall have no power nor any helper. 10 By the heaven which giveth the returning rain, 11 And the earth which opens up (with verdure), 12 the Quran is the final word, 13 And it is not amusement. 14 They are devising a guile, 15 and I am cunningly devising. 16 Give respite to the disbelievers and leave them alone for a while. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
