The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
