Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth so you may judge between the people by that which Allah has shown you. And do not be for the deceitful an advocate. 105 And ask the forgiveness of Allah, surely Allah is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful. 106 And plead not on behalf of (people) who deceive themselves. Lo! Allah loveth not one who is treacherous and sinful. 107 They seek to hide from men and seek not to hide from Allah. He is with them when by night they hold discourse displeasing unto Him. Allah ever surroundeth what they do. 108 Ho! ye are they who pleaded for them in the life of the world. But who will plead with Allah for them on the Day of Resurrection, or who will then be their defender? 109 And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 110 He who commits a sin, commits it only to his detriment. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. 111 And anyone who commits an offence or a sin, then charges an innocent person with it, shall certainly bear the guilt of a calumny and a manifest sin. 112
